Capturing Kids Sports

I have spent 15 years in the trenches of soccer in the snow, 100-degree baseball games, cross country in thunderstorms, pandemic-masked basketball games going into overtime. Early on, I thought I took pretty good photos catching special moments between little friends (gosh, they really were little) and capturing action shots. Little did I know, after finally really learning how to use a camera and purchasing a body and accompanying lens geared toward fast shots, I was far from a photographer. For the past three years, my Nikon D500 teamed up with my Tamron 70-200 fit the bill just right for all my shots. The (now big) kids ask how fast I will have their game-day photos posted and I love it!
